GO
IN MY NAME MY LAMBS
TUESDAY, JULY 11, 2006
The LORD is sending His little ‘lambs’ forth girded only in
His name. They do not go in their
own name or, their affiliations, or, their accomplishments, or, their own
strengths. The ones that the Lord is
now sending in greater numbers are His chosen humble followers that are
seemingly nameless and faceless ministries.
Take
Heed O Religious Order!
For it
is written:
But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in
you.
I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me
not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. (John 5:42-43)
Throughout history, the various religious orders have
found themselves at odds with God paradoxically due to the failure to recognize
the ones that are indeed sent by God. All the prophets since the beginning were executed at the hands of
a religious people. The servants of the
LORD that heard a message from God’s own heart and went obediently in His name
have far-too often been rejected. Of
course, one can only hear the message of God by having open ears and
heart. But it is the truth that many
times the messenger of God and the message of God are both rejected on the
basis of despising the lowly nature of the servant that is from God. This fulfills the same scriptural principle
of how Jesus Christ Himself was rejected and despised by a religious system due
to His weak appearance and humble stature.
(Isaiah 53:1-4; Phil 2:5-11)
This is why I exhort all who have ears to ear that you take heed with
great care who and how you receive those who come to you in the name of
Jesus Christ!
I Representation Through Delegation: Jesus Christ’s followers represent Him. His followers are anointed, appointed and
authorized to minister in His name.
- Jesus
marveled at the faith and understanding of a centurion of the Roman
Empire. The centurion realized
that Jesus merely needed to make the command to heal his son and that he
would be healed on the basis of Jesus’ authority under the Father. (The centurion was conceding that Jesus
was sent from God the Father, and, that Jesus was submitted to the
dictates of the Father! Therefore, what Jesus did and said was from the
Father as if it was the Father Himself…this is the principle of
delegation!)
(Matthew 8:5-9-13)
- He
that hears you hears the Lord. He
that receives you receives the Lord.
He that despises you despises the Lord. (Matthew
10:40; 18:5; Mark 9:37, Luke 9:48; John 13:20)
§
Whatever is done unto the little ones of the Lord is done
unto the Lord Himself! (Matthew
25:40,45). Be CAREFUL!
- “I
appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father has appointed unto me” (Luke 22:29)
II Jesus Our Example
§
Servant (Isaiah 42; John 13:14 --Master washes the
feet)
- Obedient
(Philippians 2:5-11)
- Lowly
and meek (Matthew 11:29)
- Represents
the Truth (John 8:40-45)
- No
Self-Reputation (Isaiah 53:2-3)
- No
form or comeliness/ No ‘desirous’ charisma (beauty) (Isaiah 52:2-3)
- Rejected
by Carnal Religious Order (John 1:11)
- Serves
in humility the Needs of People (Mark 5:24-34)
- Approachable
(Matthew 19:14; Mark 10:14; Luke 18:16; Mark 5:24-34)
- Receives
Honor From The Father Only (John
5:41; John 8:44)
- Seeks
To Please The Father (John 8:29)
- Relies
On The Father (John 5:19; 8:28)
- Taught
By the Father (John 8:28)
III Admonition To “Ministerial Leaders”
- Be
careful to receive ‘little ones’ of the LORD.
- Don’t
judge by the appearance. Judge righteous judgment.
Discern properly.
- Measure by
the Word and Spirit of God.
- Be
Listening. Take
heed with the measure you hear!
For so shall it be given or taken away in accordance with your
teachability. (Mark 4:23-25)
- Recognize
that God is sending you CORRECTION.
- Don’t
be a “sniffing dog”. Don’t
size people up by your questions of “where do you go to church? Where did you go to seminary? What are your accomplishments? Who do you know?”
Realize that when two professing
“christians” meet and size-up each other based on these types of questions it
is like two dogs that meet in the street—(The LORD has revealed this and it
is repulsive to Him!)
- Don’t
receive or reject ministry or a person on the basis of affiliation or
some other carnal judgment of assessment!
- Receive
the “little ones’ of the LORD.
Receive the ‘children’ for such is the Kingdom of God.
- God
is sending ‘nameless faceless’ ministries forth to minister in His
name.
- Often,
these sent ones are weak in themselves but strong in the LORD.
- Often,
these sent ones are seemingly “foolish” to the wise and prudent. But God is confounding both the wise
and prudent by that which is esteemed as “foolish”! (1Corinthians 1:25-31)
All of this takes place that God
is glorified in all things! So, get
ready and be prepared to receive the sent little ones of the LORD for they are
coming forth in this hour!
IV Establishment Of The Kingdom Of God In The Earth
- The
Kingdom of God is among you. (Luke
17:20-21)
- The
Kingdom of God is not of this age. (John 18:36)
- The
Kingdom of God is governed by different principles and ways from the
world. (Matthew 20:25-28; Matthew 23:11-12)
- The
“church world” is out of order with the ways of the Kingdom of God. (Just
compare the “church world” with scripture!)
- God
is calling His people out of a false religious system and order. (2Corinthians 6:14-7:1) Beware of the LEAVEN!
- The
scriptural definition of “church” is “called out”.
- God
is concerned for separation not belonging! He tells His people to beware of the leaven of the
Pharisees. The leaven is
corruption. It is false teaching,
hypocrisy, religious acting, false, lies, evil.
(Matthew 23; Matthew 16:6-12;
Luke 12:1)
§
This is the hour where God is standing up to
judge. He is going forth judging the
false among His own House. (1Peter
4:17-18)
- The
Ways of the Kingdom
- Humble
Servant Ministries
- Pastor/Shepherds
know their sheep, call them by name, feed them, care for them, heal them,
visit them, go after them when they are lost, lay down their life for the
sheep, not hirelings! (John 10; Ezekiel 34; Jeremiah 23:1-4, 11,16, 22,)
But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that
the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are
great exercise authority upon them.
But it shall not
be so among you: but
whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
And whosoever will be chief among you, let
him be your servant:
Even as the Son
of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a
ransom for many. (Matthew 20-25-28)
