1. Great Love. God's Great Love . God's Great Love Werewith He Loved Us.
A. I can't get over this fact how God so loved us—He gave His only begotten Son as our sin sacrifice.
1. Ephesians 2:4-10 4But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

B. I can't get over this fact where this love is a great love. Deep, far, wide, high, all expanding love is what God has for us. He has demonstrated this love in giving us His Son to die for us and provide life in and through Him.

C. The most tragic thing to me is how the multitudes, the masses, the majority of the world refuse this love for the most part. This is such a tragic love story.

D. Consider how much God loves us and the cost He has paid and look at how He is treated. It is not right. It is not fair. But, I can tell you most assuredly, that the day will come when God will take vengeance on those who have hated Him. Those who have spurned His voice calling for repentance and faith in this love and what it has done through Jesus Christ. Pay day is coming.

3. “Craftiness”.
A. Woe unto those who are wise in their own eyes and have developed their skill of CRAFTINESS.
1. It is a false skill of wisdom for selfish self-centered motives. It is not of Jesus Christ yet many professing “ministers” are full of craftiness.

C. Scriptures on "craftiness": 2Cr 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

4. Our Prayer Should Be That The Wicked Repent And RECOVER Themselves.
A. I have been praying for those I perceive are still in opposition to the Lord. I grieve especially for people I have known that have gone the way of Balaam, loving the reward of mammon, and have gone the way of Cain. I pray for those who relish in their flesh instead of crucifying it. I believe this is what we should have in our heart and hope that those professing faith in Christ that are motivated for selfish gain and self-centered agendas repent and recover themselves from the snare of the devil.

B. They are captives to the devil though they promise people liberty and truth from God. Listen to their words. Weigh the spirits.

C. 2Ti 2:26 And [that] they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

D. Remember the previous message in THEMES FOR THE WEEK about the “enemies of the cross of Christ”. Their god is their belly, their glory—things they think are great are actually an abomination to the LORD, and they mind earthly things. In other words, their perspective in what is good or esteemed is based on worldly ways and the way things appear on the surface. They also forget that God sees all things and only are concerned and aware of the people. They therefore do things and say things for the reaction of the people that they want. They are largely driven by lucre, dishonest gain, and are very covetous, which is idolatry. They make merchandise of the people and the gospel. They are gospel merchants. This is only one aspect of those we should pray recover themselves from the snare of the devil. But this is very grievous to my heart.

E. A man of God I know named Cody Stromberg recently told me how he is hearing things people say in the name of the Lord but those things are contrary to what he reads in the bible. He also told me that he is observing that so many so called “ministers” on the airwaves are always promoting themselves, their ministry, and selling something to raise money from the people. F. I noted this week a very important illustration. I was thinking have you ever heard that apostle Paul thought that he would reach more people by buying a coliseum in Rome to preach the gospel? Can you imagine, if you are familiar with the scriptures of Paul, that Paul would ask people to send him gold and silver so he could buy a great building to preach? No way! Can you imagine Paul forming some organization as “Apostle Paul's United Ministries Incorporated”?....

G. How foreign to the scriptures today's religious ways have become. Will Jesus recognize any of this religious activity supposedly done in His name? He asked, “Will I find faith?” Faith is hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Faith is not manufacturing works and ideas for God. Do you see the difference? Remember “strange fire”? Remember the man who tried to stable the ark of God when it tipped? God does not need our works of flesh. He is looking for obedience and our hearkening to His voice.

H. Jesus said that we could do nothing without Him. He is the True Vine, and His followers are the branches. By abiding in Him and His Word abiding in us is how the authentic godly fruit is borne. We are not to manufacture works out of our whims of imagination that are stemming from self-centered desires. Ladies and gentlemen, all this type of 'skyscraper' ministry is coming down in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Stand aside from the “skyscraper” self-exalted man made ministry that is iniquitous. Do not serve man. Do not support man. Do not align yourselves with those who have gone astray from the Lord. Do not build what He is destroying lest you yourselves become a transgressor.

5. Wicked Rich Men Ruling The World.
A. A certain day whereby the rich men, the rich merchants, the ruling kings of the earth, shall all weep and wail when they see God judge Babylon and her 'capitalism' of buying and selling merchandising the goods of the earth. This is so interesting to note the first on the list of goods cut off by the great judgment of the Living God is GOLD, AND SILVER... and lastly, the merchandising and trafficking of souls.

B. A lot of people will grieve when God judges Babylon and her dainties, especially the gold and silver! Just like Lot's wife.

C. But realize! This is righteous judgment from God Almighty! Babylon will be guilty of spilling the blood of the saints of Jesus Christ and God will giver her blood to drink. Beyond all the other evils that Babylon has perpetrated, even deceiving the nations and their leaders, this Babylon that rides upon the Great Beast of world empire shall utterly be robbed and then burned with fire. This judgment is to be a rejoicing and not a grieving.

9. 'Revelation' Of The Word Of God Is A Heart Issue!
A. Mat 13:15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and [their] ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with [their] eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and should understand with [their] heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

B. Urging you to review this whole chapter on seeing, hearing, receiving the Word of God. The soil of the heart is what the Word of God is sown. Is your heart hard? Is it filled with cares and lusts of the world? Is your heart darkened in understanding? God is the only One who can change our heart. Seek Him. May He create a new heart and spirit within you. May Jesus Christ dwell in your heart by faith. This is the only way you shall see—hear---and understand the things of God as they are from Him.

Remember, God hides the truth from the wise and prudent. They that are wise in their own eyes and filled with craftiness. But, those who humble themselves as little children, He reveals the hidden things of the mystery of the Kingdom that are contained in the very Words of God.
