The Way It Is

God is not the respecter of persons.  Each and every man and woman will receive for the good or evil that they have done.  God sanctifies Himself in the truth of judgment.  He won’t lie or diminish the evil of evil for anyone!  That’s the way it is!

God doesn’t care if you are the President of the United States.  He doesn’t care if you’re the Vice-President or the Secretary of Defense.  God is not swayed if you are a Senator, Congressman or Governor.  Any leader of any capacity God holds you responsible to govern in upright fairness and truth.

God commands all men everywhere to repent.  Regardless of who you are.  God has spoken.  He has been speaking.  He has made Himself known through dreams and visions.  He has spoken in the night and in many ways.  But His voice has been largely ignored and despised.  God has had enough.  It is time for His judgment.

He will not tolerate passing public policy for private gain.  He will not allow bribery.  God despises the liars—and their lies-- they will not stand in His presence.  No man will prosper while they withhold the truth.  You cannot lie to God and get away with it.  God is commanding all men everywhere to repent and acknowledge the error of their way.

God sees the abomination of what is done in secret.  He sees the two face hypocritical manner of leaders both secular and religious.  God says, “Enough!”  God does not care if you are the most influential.  Repent.  He doesn’t care if you are the richest man of the world.  Repent.  He doesn’t’ care if you have the largest church.  Repent.   God doesn’t care if you wrote the most popular Christian book in the world.  He demands repentance.  No more lies.  No more idolatry.  Enough!

Consider this:

God judged mightily His own covenant people Israel and Judah.  He recorded in scripture their sins, their lack of response to God’s voice, and His judgment that followed.  It is written.  It is written for everyone to learn from.  We all were to learn from the error of their way.  They rejected God’s ways.  They rejected His plea to return to Him.  They rejected His voice.  Finally, God sent fiery judgment.  God stood aside from His own people.

With God making Israel and Judah an example to the world and showing His hot displeasure in judgment, how can anyone believe that God would not judge other nations of the same judgments due to the same sins?  That is insane thinking.  That type of thinking demonstrates the effects of too much sitcom viewing.  God is not a silly character.  He is the mighty and glorious King.  Where is His respect.  He is the Great God.  Where is His honor?  He demands to know.
