To ABIDE & LOVE or not...
That is the question that explains it all.

As I was wakening and musing in my heart with the Lord, the recent things heightened (revelation/quickened/illuminated by the Spirit) was Jesus explaining the most basic spiritual reality and the ramifications.

That is, to abide in Jesus or not. To love Jesus or not. Each of these things are related and are from subsequent chapters in John. John 14 and 15.

These are things not usually discussed in institutional forms of Christianity. Why? Well, we are in a day where big is better. From larger burgers to supersized meals. And, large churches to mega churches being the ideal of those building the enterprise of churchdom. If the ideals which I will speak shortly were announced in the religious centers, the result would be in short time a massive evacuation. There would be no need for a parking lot. No need for pews, chairs or auditorium seating. Hearing the most imperative “as it is” teaching from Jesus would contradict the ideal of bringing in crowds and giving them a smooth yummy feeling message. Doing such a thing would eliminate the need for a “staff”. Funny this word as I pondered it. What is a staff but something you lean on?

Come on now. Ladies and gentlemen. Who are professing Christians supposed to lean on? Fill in the blank _______________X.

Did you answer JESUS? Bravo! Certainly that is God showing you that. See how simple it is to have the Lord show you something? How you can hear and see from God?

So we now see that if the real Word of God from the real Holy Spirit of truth was heralded within the religious culture, there would be no need for the system. Those who would embrace the truth of God would leave the heretical rebellious system. And that is exactly what God is looking to have happen. That is why He sovereignly used the global ruse of Covid 19 to have church activity limited and even stopped in some places.

Why would God allow that? Why would God allow wicked men to hinder religion and its meetings? It is so simple. Because they are ruining people just as their fathers did that crossed sea and land to make proselytes. They turned those who followed their teaching and manners of hypocrisy into twice the children of hell than the builders of the system.

Are you ready to ponder some of the most blatant clear as can be statements from Jesus?

Jesus tells us:
“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.
If you love Me, you will keep My word.

If you love Me, My Father and I will love you.
I will disclose Myself to you.

My Father and I will come to you and abode with you.”

So this is vital to understand and realize.

If you do not love Jesus---you are disobedient.
You will not have Jesus disclosing Himself to you.
He will not answer your prayers.
You will not experience the Father and Jesus remaining within you.
You will know nothing about the Spirit of truth that was sent to abide with you either.
You can not know how the one and only teacher endorsed by Jesus to teach you. You chose others other than Jesus.

Next, is what Jesus tells us about abiding in Him.
Remember, a seed is planted and it will grow into what the seed was designed to be.
God is the creator and that is just how simple it works both in the natural and spiritual realms.

The seed of the Word of God is planted in a heart.
It grows, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain.
Jesus is the True Vine. Branches spring forth from being planted in Him.
The branches bear fruit and are tended to by God the Father the husbandman. He prunes, sends water, spiritually speaking, and causes the growth and yield for His own good pleasure.

So, one is either ABIDING, remaining attached, staying, or they are not. It is as simple as that.
If one abides in Him, they will produce just what God has said. Good fruit. The fruit of the Spirit, and the fruit of the nature of Jesus. They are partakers of the divine godly nature.

However, if one DOES NOT abide in Jesus, they are likened to a branch that withers, is broken off, thrown down, only to be burned in fire in due time.

So we must acknowledge the truth that loving and obeying Jesus go together. And, love and abiding also are related. To love and abide will manifest in one way. And to not love Jesus nor abide with Him will be expressed in another way. A tragic way of death.

Why do people leave Jesus? They do not love Him.
Why don't people obey Jesus and keep His Word of instruction? They do not love Him.

Can a person be saved and have eternal life when they do not love God? No.
Can a person be saved and have eternal live when they do not abide in Jesus and bear good fruit? No.

Yet, churches are full of people that have lived this way. Rather, they are dead. Dead in their sins and trespasses though they think they are accepted by Him. They are deceived and have been deceived by the false church system that led them to believe these lies.

IF people only did what Jesus commanded:
to come to Him, follow Him, learn from Him, loving Him, being faithful in little, hearing and listening---walking in obedience, then they would have left the con job churches and their guru masters long ago.

Jesus tells us, if the blind follow the spiritually blind, shall they not both fall into the ditch? Can you answer that one? ______________X

God is not mocked. Which means, He will not be sneered at. He is not fooled by imitators and imitation fakery of any kind. He detests hypocrisy for its phony acting a part. He rages that people offer to Him insincere words of honor. He knows they do not mean it.

The result of such choices by so many is that God will give them a spiritual slumber. He will close their eyes. They will be turned over to believe lies by a strong deluding influence. This is all written.

I am stunned that people choose not to love the truth. They have taken a cavalier casual ho hum attitude of they can take it or leave it. Truth is not important to them. They accept half truths partial truths and even down right lies. They live in relationships of 'don't ask, don't tell'. In other words, “sleep with who or what you want, just don't tell me about it”. “Keep it under the rug. We can live on like nothing since we both live this way.”

Sorry, I have to bring that out to the open light because these are the ways people of darkness live, think, and promote these ideals in the world. Even the church world lives this way. It is exposed from time to time as you hear of their wicked sexual exploits of debauchery of the rich and famous clegy-ites.

God wants everyone to know He does not approve of wickedness. And this is just one of the aspects those that are being turned over have done. They approve wickedness. Think about that and what that looks like. How about approving sin that is expressly forbidden by God. White-washing iniquity and giving people hope there is peace peace, when there is no peace God says.
Nothing is new under the sun.

I share these things that people will understand why they do not obey God. And, why they do not, nor can not, encounter intimacy with God either. Their religious activities are just that. Activities, dead activities of vanity, unacceptable to God. Titus 1:15-16. Like Cain, their spiritual brother, whose father is the devil.
