Spiritually Speaking That Is....

The Lord will tell us our true state. His intention is that we recognize our need and look to Him to remedy it. Regardless of the cost, or the cause, we must present ourselves to the Lord totally so we can do His will. Romans 12:1-2

Seriously, the Church World is in a very bad state. As Israel was turned over to spiritual blindness, from their leaders and throughout the people, they had been made blind by God Himself.
Isaiah 29:10-13.

God closes their spiritual eyes, and the revelation/illumination of His Word due to HYPOCRISY. When people speak of God, and cozy up with their words, though their hearts have been removed far from Him---and even teach doctrines that come from man instead of God, they become blind.
1 Peter 1:4-9...

Jesus even said He comes for judgment, to give sight to the blind; yet BLINDNESS to those who say they see. These are they of the same ilk spoken above.
John 9:39-41.

Jesus told us of the paradox of spiritually blind leaders that lead the blind. Where are they going? Right into the ditch of darkness. Why? Because of many reasons.

This is an admonition to evaluate your own state before the Lord. We are in the Last Days. It will become more and more dark, and even gross darkness as the Word describes it. Isaiah 60.

The only light is the Lord Jesus Christ Who is the Light of the World. FOLLOW HIM!
Some of the things that lead to spiritual blindness:
Hypocrisy. Religiosity. Performing pseudo acts of righteousness before men.
Self-will.
Disobedience.
Unbelief.
Loving the World,
becoming the enemy of God, a spiritual adulterer.
Idolatry. Covetousness.
Pride.
Foolishness.
The list is long. The key thing here for all, as an individual, is to ask the Lord to search you and see if He sees any wicked way in you. He will tell you the truth by the Holy Spirit. And then allow Him to lead you the way of Jesus.

May the Lord restore all who have dimness of spiritual sight, and give you hearing ears of understanding, and seeing eyes of perception.

I thank you Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for you have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and REVEALED them to babes...Jesus.
