What Liz
Had To Say Today

I
have been staying at a hotel in Montana for the last few weeks as I wait for my
residence to be ready to move in. I
always encourage believers in Christ to engage people in discussions. Be interested in people and sincerely allow
them to speak with you. This is how
Jesus Himself often ministered. (John
4)
This morning I went to the Exxon gas station across the
street from my hotel to get some coffee.
I met the usually smiling face of Liz the young lady who
serves the customers at the counter. We
were joking about certain products inside the store that have surprising
reactions when combined with other products.
Then I thought about the restrictions on air travel now due to terrorism—both
real and imagined. I asked Liz if she
had heard the rumor about 7 cities that were targeted for terrorism this
weekend by Islamic jihadists. She
hadn’t. But she asked me questions
about the rumor. (Sign of a Truth
seeker)
We then went outside and Liz told me that she thought Montana could be a potential target from enemies due to the military’s missile silos in the area. My eyes got real big and I asked her, “Really? Where are they? Liz didn’t tell me specifically where the silos were but she did point out nearby earthquake faults that interjoin just a mile up the road. My eyes got even bigger. I told her I believe Montana is a safe place for now…
Then, this very nice, bubbly, kind, and everyday-type young lady said something to me that was so profound. I looked at her and motioned as if to say, ‘tell me more’.
Liz said, “The End is near. It is coming real soon. And it’s time that people wake up!”
Then two customers pulled up and Liz had to go inside the
store. Do you see how profound this
is? Liz isn’t a church person. I don’t believe she even goes to
church. But yet she knows the
truth. She is actually voicing what the
‘Spirit is saying unto the churches’.
And you know what is the most amazing thing about this? If you were to go to a “church” or to as many
churches as possible in a month, you would most probably not hear what Liz said
in the church. Worse yet, you would not
hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. Why? Because the
religious ‘church world’ is not hearing the Lord. They are not seeking Him or listening to Him. And now the obvious signs of the times that
are looming on our horizon are largely ignored or undiscerned. (Matthew 16:1-3)
I would rather go to a gas station than a church I must
saidly report. It seems that you and I may
have a better chance to hear from the Lord from one of His little ones
that He has safely hidden away from the cold of the church world.
